*Due to popular demand, we have opened up the March 22nd tournament to 16 players and moved the tournament to the conference room at the library, and will set up at 11:30 AM, with the first round starting at noon. We will also be adding an extra round to accompany our extra players. If you cannot stay for an extra round, I am glad to issue one half point bye for the last (or first) round. There is still some extra room if anyone would like to sign up! We can take 4 more players. Please email me if you would like to join!
The Alaska Arctic Chess Club will be hosting a 3 round, 8 player Swiss tournament at the Noel Wien Library on March 22nd, from noon until 4 pm!
This is a rated, 3 round event for up to 8 players at the Fairbanks Noel Wien Public Library on March 22nd, 2025. The rounds will be G/25;d/5, classical time controls. The NWPL does have a coffee shop with small food items, for those who may be traveling.
