Join us February 22, 2025 for a set of small quads at the North Pole Library from noon until 4 PM!
What’s a quad? Well, it is a small round robin event based on groups of 4 players. We are making it available to have one or two groups (perhaps 3 if there is enough interest), where the players who sign up are grouped based on closest rating. This helps keep players of similar rating or skill playing against each other, keeping the game more fun and interesting for the contestants.
These games are USCF rated, with time controls of G/25;d/5, meaning 25 minutes on the clock, and 5 seconds of delay. Clocks and boards will be provided.
Please note that unlike the Fairbanks Library, the North Pole Library does not have a food venue or cafe inside the library.
